I know it isn’t Christmas just yet, but in the Eastern hemisphere, it’s already Christmas Eve and in the Western hemisphere, tomorrow is Christmas Eve.
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year’s, and remember, Christmas is not about the presents! It’s about remembering your faith and being with family, so enjoy it, because some people aren’t lucky enough to have a family. Be grateful for what you have and count your blessings.
Here’s some history about this joyous time of year:
- No one’s really quite sure when Jesus Christ was born..there’s only estimations and no exact time in the Torah or Bible or Qur’an (yes, Muslims believe in Jesus). So really, Christmas day is just a commemoration of Jesus’ birth.
- Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Palestine. The Church of the Nativity was built over the place he was supposedly born.
- In Armenia, the first Christian nation on Earth, Christmas is celebrated on January 6th.
Anyways, have a great Christmas to our Christian followers.
Also, to our Jewish followers, Happy Hanukkah!

I, Rehma, won’t be celebrating Christmas but tonight I’m going to a friend’s house for Christmas Eve dinner since my mom just spontaneously left to Detroit (my brother is in the hospital).
Anthony I’m sure will have a great Christmas. You all should wish him a Merry one :)

Christmas in Beirut, Lebanon.
It’s about that time again :3
This is why I’m trying to convince my dad to let me go to Lubnan in winter break.
