I’ve talked to many people who love going to AUB, the American University of Beirut. They seem to like the environment a lot.
If you want to work with Palestinian refugees, then yes. I say go to Lebanon. It has the largest Palestinian refugee camp in the world which is located in the city of Sidon. When I went there this summer, there were a lot of foreigners with Palestinian shirts on. I would say maybe go in the summer and see how you like it.
