On this day in 1915, 5,000 of the poorest Armenians in Constantinople were gathered in the streets and killed. Armenian political & intellectual leaders were rounded up and killed. flisteen: Samer Issawi is a Palestinian citizen and activist. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2002 when the IDF invaded several West Bank cities.
